Welcome to our new Tennis Development Coordinator

The Broadmoor Tennis Club is proud to welcome Preston Codrington as our new Tennis Development Coordinator.

Coach Preston brings a lot to Broadmoor Tennis Club, with his impressive knowledge of tennis and his multiple awards, from receiving the 2021 boys U14 national sportsmanship award, to the multiple awards from winning various tournaments.

Preston has previously been coaching for 1 and a half years at Capilano and through EJTS. He has worked with adults and juniors from all levels.

Preston has been playing tennis for 8 years and considers it his favourite sport. Outside from competing in Alberta, Preston has travelled to Mexico and across Canada to compete. Preston’s favourite surface is by far hard court, and he most certainly plays his best tennis on this surface! As a highly ranked Albertan tennis player, Preston has been fortunate enough to travel to Laval to compete at outdoor junior nationals. Preston’s favourite professional tennis player is Rafael Nadal. He admires the way that Rafa is able to compose himself on the court and aspires to be like him.

Preston’s passion for tennis proves as to why he is an excellent asset to the Broadmoor club.
